The IBF Mentoring Programme has been running since the middle of 2008, and at any given time there can be up to 30 different mentors and mentees from member companies working together. In addition to publicising members of the association who have put themselves forward as mentors, it also offers member companies the opportunity to give one or other of its senior level employees the opportunity to have guidance from a free and high-level mentor from outside their own company.

The ‚Owners Group‘ started life as a forum for owners of companies to get together and discuss the issues that are particular to their own working life; it was started at the beginning of the Financial Crisis when many owner-managed companies were struggling to keep afloat, and was instrumental in the IBF’s launch of its popular ‚We pay on time‘ programme.
